The gardeners at the Botanical Gardens certainly kept things trimmed but out on the streets, not so evident. Although I did see some guys weed hoeing amongst some street side flower beds, but later walking past there were still weeds to be seen. Thinking of an untidy look, Jeantine found us a copy of the English language Amsterdam Weekly and it had a reference there to a blog comment about the new underground rubbish collection system.
