I had taken this shot as we walked slowly home off the tram from the Rijks Museum. Heading home for a rest before the doctor's appointment later that afternoon.
When it came time to order the taxi to get us to Jeantine's doctor, the people downstairs had also ordered a taxi for their friends to take them to the airport. I got downstairs first and when the taxi driver asked if there was any luggage, I said no. Realising then, whoops wrong cab but, by the time Jeantine had made her way down our taxi had arrived. Boy those cab drivers (our there and back ones at least) seem to drive fast through the narrow lanes. You wonder how the cyclists and pedestrians survive – it seems a bit like a toddler just missing the edge of a table as they wobble around the furniture – they get by.
