Downpipe detail at the Rijks Museum
Monday 4 August 2008 in Amsterdam
Detail of the sculptured ends to the downpipes.
Once inside Jeantine had to sit whilst Barb and I had a look around on the ground floor, which had an overview of life and the art in the Golden Age of the 17th Century, before moving to the first floor to see Rembrandt's paintings. We weren't there long as Jeantine was really feeling the pain, so we took a look at the Night Watch painting before exiting the museum and catching the tram back home to her place.
