We took a cruise later the same day from a berth near the Centraal Station. I didn't take any photos on the 1 hour cruise, I guess because I was so annoyed with myself after I had been conned out my Euro notes. Barb and I had gone into town on the tram and on the way in we saw the the terminal for various canal cruise firms, so started walking towards that area when I was asked if I spoke English and could I change a €2 coin for smaller change for parking. That was the fastest most expensive entertainment / education I've ever had. I exchanged some €200 plus for one 2 Euro coin. I was starting to get annoyed that this guy was poking in my wallet while I was trying to understand why he kept saying what he was saying, something about he would accept €1.30 for his €2 coin. This must have been his slight of hand technique to take my eye off his actions and it made me extremely irritated and annoyed to find that all my notes had gone, when I went to get the tickets for the canal cruise. Grrrrrrr, damn!
